Read on for details of this great weekend
Cost: €50 for 2 nights stay in the Coollattin Lodge based on a minimum booking period of 2 nights. The cost of food & drink will be divided up when down in Coolattin (approximately €15 - €20 each)
Numbers: Maximum number of people Coolattin accommodates is 24 depending on bed requirements i.e. couples/singles etc so it will be on a first come first served basis.
Catering: Food will be supplied for the weekend and the cost divided up. We need 2 people to volunteer as chefs for the dinner on Sat night. Adam Kelly and Chris Upton took on this challenge last year and did a great job!
Logistics: There is an option to either drive down and back or cycle. For those who wish to drive down a cycle will be arranged in the local area. For those who wish to cycle 2 routes will be planned depending on level of ability. These include:
• Long route – towards the mountains taking approximately 4 – 4 and ½ hours. Leader to be confirmed.
• Short route – direct from Bray taking approximately 3 hours. Leader to be confirmed.
To book a place on this weekend please send an e-mail to Deirdre.hough@halifax.ie. Please also confirm if you would like to volunteer to lead the long or short spin down to Coolattin from Bray and/or prepare the dinner Sat night.
