Folks,

I have kept this Sunday's route fairly flat on the basis that a lot of people haven't been on their bikes in a couple of week & there is a possibility of frost.

I enjoyed this morning's spin including the "breakaway" cycle with Pauline, Colm, Darren, Liam though I'm still not sure how I got stuck in the middle of that one! Absolute max pace for me so I'm glad you turned down the wick for the last few km's

Thanks

Aha, so you did turn right in Rathnew. It all makes sense now.

Jamie, John Kelly, Mick Doherty and I were in the other group and after stopping briefly for a technical difficulty couldn't find you guys again. After doing a bit of coaching on us, Jamie headed home at Rathnew so we figured you guys had taken the coast road and headed that way, determined to catch up. After a while we realised that you must've gone another way. We went past Blainroe, turned right, looped back to Wicklow and straight back to Ashford from there. Clearly we were just more determined to hit the 65km mark...

Strava for our route here .

You're dead right Michael. The group went as fast as I was capable of from Kilcoole to Rathnew  , I suspect I was visibly finished by the time we pulled into Rathnew. I was on for some more km's but not at the same pace, never would have hung on to them! Not sure who decided but somebody just said Glenealy/Bel Air and that was that B)
