@Martins - Just don't play air guitar like you did on the dance floor at the awards dinner, man that was seriously embarrassing . Unfortunately I wont be around to lead Group 3 tomorrow, hopefully someone else will take it, but if you talk to Linus he will make sure that you are in the right group.
@Debs, the group 3 & 4 route is 80km tomorrow versus the normal 75km as I am trying to add a bit of variety to the routes & it can be challenging to do this and be bang on 75km. Its up to the individual Group leaders to use their discretion, if they wish to shorten the route due to poor weather conditions etc, but I see that it's going to be 7 degrees tomorrow, sure that it practically tropical . We do have a 50km, 65km, 75km & 90km routes most Saturdays so there are plenty of options if people want to do a shorter spin.
If people feel the routes are too long, then please make the their feeling known to the Committee and I will take direction from them, as its not practical for me to base the routes around individuals preferences.
The routes for this Saturday the 9th of December are detailed below, just a few reminders:
- Remember to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the spin to allow for sign on and remember your TI card or proof of current TI membership.
- We encourage everyone to have a back flashing light & wear something bright so you can be seen
Group 1 : New2Tri (Sign on 9.45am - Departs 10.00am)
Leader: The Crean Machine
I meant to post earlier but Redcross should be considered a no go zone at the moment for bikes as the road is up all over the place and there are three way traffic signals in place for water main replacement project that started earlier this week.
