Me too. Waiting on call from avoca. No exageration here. This guy turned his wheel towards us smd almost took all six of us out on a straight road. Lunatic with a major chip on his shoulder.

Good news it looks like there will be no need for sun tan lotion on Saturday we will be back to Winter jackets & multiple layers, it’s an 8 out of 10 spin this week, so we can up the intensity a bit as it was obvious that we were all taking it nice & handy as we free wheeled over Shay Elliot.

There are no major climbs on this week’s route but there are plenty of smaller ones, it’s a fairly lumpy route:

Folks,

Detailed below are the routes for Saturday, the good news is that they are relatively flat, but as it is a ‘10 out of 10’ week in terms of effort we are looking for the pace to be fairly lively (but controlled) and we have included a number of 5 minute intervals throughout the routes.

Interval 1: (All) Silver Strand to T Junction.
Interval 2 (All) Brittas Bay to Hill at the end of Brittas
Interval 3:(Group 2 Only) Shelton Abbey Climb
or
Interval 3: (Group 3 & 4) Arklow to Woodenbridge.
Interval 4: (Group 3 & 4) The Straight Mile to Ballinaclash
Interval 5: (Group 4) Laragh to Annamoe.

The intervals should be ridden as a group (up & overs) in a controlled manner & at a maximum intensity of 80%, in terms of judging the intensity for most people the build up to the Burke Oil sprint hits 100%, so the intensity should be 20% less than this.

Folks,

Detailed below are the routes for Saturday, there are quite a few of us away in Coolattin for the weekend so it may be relatively quiet.

For anyone that usually rides with Group 3 make sure you know the route as I have know one to lead this group. Unless someone wants to volunteer :) !

Its a "4 out of 10" week in terms of intensity, so the pace should be fairly handy.
