Sorry to hear that Brian but very glad you lived to tell the tail ( you were obviously cycling too fast :P )
Wishing you a very speedy recovery

Jeez Brian lucky escape! Get well soon. Easy to get distracted when on bars.
Your poor helmet but it did its job!! Your testimonial should be the reason for sky rocket sales in B2R now!
Keep well :)

@desh: A friend of mine came down in a break-away crash on the Sha3 race a few weeks ago. He was sporting large patches of road rash like yourself but let me in on a cycling tip. Once they get a couple of days of healing under that big scab they liberally apply Preparation-H all over. Scab will vanish in no time he tells me. Allows them back on the bike sooner as the scabs are totally inflexible.

Hope that helps

Brian that must have been a scary experience alright. And things can and do happen in a split second-especially on a busy road like the N11. Im glad you're ok. Im sure you're also glad you're ok!
Wishing you a speedy recovery and hope your bike recovers too!

Lucky escape brian, it's easy how these things happen.

No harm everyone getting a reminder of how accidents can happen so easily & how the gear is so important.

Your memory of the incident will be a little more vivid!

Njoy the recovery
