Members,

The Committee would like to embark on a review of our entire communications strategy - website, facebook, twitter, announcements, bulk text, forum, apps, etc. and how these could and should integrate seamlessly together - and we need your help. We are looking to organise a subcommittee of enthusiastic and self-driven individuals (the natural traits of triathletes) to make this happen.

The website needs a complete overhaul, and we will look to outsource this to a professional company, but we need a plan for the layout and content, etc. We would like to review how other clubs communicate effectively with their members and the tools they use to do so.

Every team needs a leader, so anybody that has a passion for technology and would like to lead this project, please step forward. We need team members to help with research, strategising, content writing, photography, graphic design, etc. The first step will be to devise a strategy and present to the Committee for any required funds. This project is a massive opportunity for us to innovate and bring the club's communications into the 21st century.

We are now a club with 220 members, and we would especially like to see new members step forward and become more involved. Please either reply below or email me directly on daveyowens@gmail.com if you would like to contribute.
