Hi All

The run this week is in Djouce meeting at 10am in the lower car park. Weather depending the plan will be to run up onto the Wicklow way, across the top of the waterfall and down through Crone Woods a loop of approx. 15km and of course there will be a shorter 10km option for those looking for it.

As always coffee and cake back in Enniskerry after.

Where is the entrance for Altidore track in Kilpedder, went looking today but couldn't find it. Found a couple of entrances, the ones with yellow and black gates, but the trails did not lead anywhere.

Hi the Altidore trail I use has its entrance about 2km from the grove pub. So if you have your back to the Grove pub car park there is a road heading inland. Take that road (Tooman Road) and about a 1km up the road it swings hard right and then up a very steep hill again about 0.6km and at the top of that hill is the entrance into Altidore on the right hand side with a yellow and black forestry gate at the entrance.

There is a wide open track at the entrance and you run down this for about 200m then take the first right and head down hill. This track goes on for about 2km until you come to a large Y junction and you can either go right or left but either way it take you on a 5km hilly loop (just stick to the main trail).

Hope this helps, if not you are just going to have to join our Sunday runs ;-)

Also just check out Altidore (Tooman Road) on Google maps and the trail is very clear

Hi All

This weeks run is going to be nice and flat but still a really nice run. So this week it is Roundwood Lakes meeting in Roundwood at 10am. As we are running the lakes there are plenty of distance options available.

So if we could meet up at the on street parking as you come into Roundwood just before the Coach House, we will run from there to the lakes.

See you all there

Hi all

I know the racing season is nearly upon us but I'm still going to plan for the some hill running.

So this weekend it's Ballinastoe Woods for a magical mystery tour.

Meeting at Ballinastoe car park at 10am ready to hit the hills followed as always by coffee and scones.
