This Saturday we will have a lunch n' learn session on Nutrition for racing - Adam Kelly for those of your who do not know Adam he owns Pura Vida Fitness, is an Ironman and a member of the club and is passionate about healthy eating/lifestyles.
Nutrition is so important on race day and in particular people stepping up to Olympic, middle or full distance so Adam is going to give an overview of what you should take on.
The talk will be after the Saturday cycle in Avoca (we have reserved the seating area by the heaters) at 12.30pm. I would encourage as many people as possible to attend Adam has done a number of talks over the years and they are always very informative.
Keep an eye on the forum as John and Colm will do routes to ensure we are back on time so some of the groups may start a little earlier on Saturday.
In order to make the best use of your time on Saturday for the nutrition talk, Adam has insisted that you email him your questions please, in advance, by Friday latest please. He will only deal pre sent topics/ questions. He will start at 12.30 sharp."
