Coach Eamonn Tilley is organising a triathlon training day for Saturday April 7th, which will cover EVERYTHING you could possibly need to know about triathlon. Details on the proposed schedule and venues are included below. As well as providing coached swim, bike, run and strength & conditioning sessions, Eamonn will also be doing a presentation on all the essential things you need to know about triathlon training and racing. The day will conclude with some coaching on that important 4th discipline of triathlon, which is transition.
Whilst this session will most likely appeal to those of you who are new to the world of triathlon, there may be a number of our longer-term members who might fancy getting a refresher course too.
The cost for the day is €50 and there are 15 places available, which will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. A minimum number of participants will be required for the event to go ahead.
If you would to like to put your name on the list to attend, either reply to this post or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org

Any other takers? We can only go ahead if we have enough interest. Having done this training day myself as a newbie around 7 years ago, I can't overestimate how valuable I found it. Eamonn has a wealth of knowledge to share, so you can guarantee that you'll pick up loads of brilliant training tips.
Remember, you don't have to be a new member to take part. Why not use it as an opportunity for him to help you improve/correct the stuff you might be doing wrong
