Folks,

A Date for your diary, the annual JD Time trial will be held on Saturday the 26th of July, it will start at Ashford at 10.00am.

It's 68.3km in distance and we encourage as many members as possible to participate, you can enter as an individual or as a group.

Route: Ashford School, heading up the Cullenmore Bends, onto the N11 to Kilmac, Long Hill, Calary, Roundwood, Laragh, Rathdrum, Glenealy - Rathnew and finishes at the Bus Stop just before Ashford.

In term of times, the winning male time last year was 1.52.27 (Noel Conway) and the winning female time 2.27.14 (Nicola Crean)As far as I can recall the course record is held by Scott Graham at a time of 1:47. (If anyone has the exact time can you post it up on the forum)

Folks,

Just a reminder that there will be no Saturday spin this week, but instead we will be running the annual JD Time trail. Its approximately 70km in length & we would encourage all members to give it a go.

It will commence as 10.00am in Ashford & you can enter as an individual or as a pair. We will only publish the top 3 places on the forum

I am not actually around but we will be looking for someone to volunteer to do the time keeping, no previous experience is required, so if you would like to volunteer can you reply to this post
