I was looking at the Shadowman half next week, I think it's still open for registration.

Anyone else heading over?

I'm working the Saturday so I'd only be able to head over on the Sunday morning, I've sent them an email but was anyone there last year, I don't know if it's a set-up like Kenmare where all the messing is done the night beforehand.

Of course I could be wrong and it could all be closed and this might be a pointless thread altogether!

Sure I entered it anyway. In for a penny in for a pound...

Registration 6-7am, which means I'll need to leave Bray pretty early. Might just go to sleep now!

I did this race last year and it was a bit of a disaster. The course is fast - nice lake swim and bike course was flat as a pancake. The trouble was there was only 1 marshall on the whole bike course - in fact the first junction I came to I had to make a guess. The run was 2km short and then in their infinite wisdom, they decided not to supply any food until the long distance event was over which was about 4/5 hours later. Needless to say we had to stop for lunch on the way home.

Great bunch of lads really!!
