My only Olympic was 2.38 in Belfast last year. My calculations for this year are as follows;
+1 min in as I'm a year older and none the wiser
- 2 min as I am fitter (not in the Ali G sense)
-1 min as no international travel involved
+3 min due to lack of local knowledge (couldn't even hum a Joe Dolan song)
-1 min as I have lost weight
+2 min as my wet suit is now likely a wet wooly jumper.
+5 min as I have hardly trained in a month
-2 min as I have thought about training quiet a bit, even got into my wet suit on one occasion only to take it back off agin to watch a youtube video about improving my technique.
+ 2 mins as I really should be running or something other than writing this.
+ 1 min as my bike is worth less than it was last year; therefore less fast, apparently.
+ 1 min as I am off the aerobars.
- 2 mins as I am off the Difene injections that resulted from the damn things.
I think I might have just have an idea for an App!
So I am going for 2.38 again as it beats doing all them sums, besides I have to watch a you tube video on.......
