Hi all,
Our training 'race' is just days away and Karen and I will be putting information about routes and start times on the forum over the next couple of days.
Before then this is an IMPORTANT reminder - you can only race if you are a member of Triathlon Ireland - you are only covered by insurance if you have TI membership and we will not allow anyone to race who is not insured. This is standard at ALL TI affiliated races.

We will have a sign-on desk on the morning of the practice 'race' which will imitate what you are required to do on race day.
Show your card: Put your name in Block Capitals: Sign the Sheet:

No TI Card - No race.

We look forward to all of you having your TI cards and being race ready, bright and early on Sunday morning.

Please keep an eye on the forum where all race information will be posted.

Hi all,

In case you missed it, I put together a race check-list of stuff to bring for a normal sprint/olympic race:

www.wicklowtri.com/index.php/2015-04-07-...sprint-olympic-races

You won't need your wetsuit for the pool swim of course, and we won't be providing swim caps so please bring your own!

I hope this helps - feel free to reply if you have any specific questions. Good luck!! :woohoo:

-Michael

Hi All,
We're heading swiftly towards practice 'race' day and the preparation for racing that's all part of the build up.
Please note the timimg schedule set out below:

Transition opens 7.20am
Sign-on. 7.20am
Transition closes. 7.55am
Race briefing. 8.00am
Access to changing rooms 8.15am
On deck at the pool for race start at 8.30am

Please note that we will close transition at 7.55am - again simulating race, day we will be strict and close transition on time. It is important to allow yourself enough time to do your preparation. Everybody is different - there are the fluffers and faffers, the ultra organised and the middlin - on Sunday the Super friendly marshalls will be there to assist and advise so please just ask.

Further updates will be coming like 46As in the coming days so please do read the information so that we can make your morning as enjoyable as possible.
