The 70 km Mountain TT inaugurated into the Tri Club by Jamie Bray , a Classic Race in its day , was held today in near perfect conditions . There was a good entry from all levels in the Club. The atmosphere was competitive and sporting and everyone convened afterwards for a well earned coffee.
Many thanks to the timekeepers , Jenny Hagstrom and Lisa Howley , without whom the race could not have been held.

The prestigious JD Time trial will be held on Saturday the 22nd of July, at 10.00am in Ashford. That's 4 weeks before Dublin 70.3, so it is a perfect opportunity to test yourself on a long Time trial. It's 68.3km in distance and we encourage as many members as possible to participate, you can enter as an individual or as a group. It is a good training effort . I would encourage everyone at all levels to do this .
It is run like all the other club TT , with fastest going last and one minute interval between riders..
Will those intending to ride this Saturday please add name to list below
Timekeepers - we need two volunteers.
Marshals - we need two marshals
In the interests of safety - we will amend the route : to take a left turn at Mill Lane instead of going through Rathnew to avoid traffic.
