Has anyone any opinion on the Kuota Kharma Evo bike, my brother is thinking about getting a carbon bike, he doesnt want to pay too much and this is 2,100 euro, has anyone got one and care to share their opinion?

Is it good value for money or is not a great bike? Comes with a 105 groupset and mavic aksiums wheels.

Haven't ridden one myselt but given that its not actually a full 105 groupset and the stem/bars aren't great (I have had them - bars crap) its not a great deal. Even if the frame is sh*t hot, the rest of the bits let it down , especially when you should be looking at €1800 or so for carbon and FULL 105 with aksiums or equivalent basic wheels.

Cheers noel, Would there be a noticable difference in a better stem and bars. He isnt much of a competitive cclist really, just wants to keep fit and do a few triathlons.

Would you be able to suggest an alternative, he wants a carbon bike and doesnt really want to spend over €2000. Looking for more of an endurance frame.

I have a kuota kharma, it's probably 2006 model. I bought it second hand and it has an ultegra group set on it. It is still my race bike and I can't recommend it enough. The only place I have ever seen them for sale in shops is cycle plus in Greystones so check what you can get it for there first!
Cheers
