No more Big Bricks for me for a while after Wednesdays mountain run. I had a tumble on the descent off Scarr and broke my wrist! To keep up my legendary tradition of competing in races with broken bones I finished the race and still managed a podium - 3rd in the 50-59 AG.
The Legend Lives!
Thanks to Mick Heatley and his parents for getting me and my bike to safety.
Thanks also to the staff in Loughlinstown and St. Vincents Hospital for their excellent treatment
Jim that is subhuman stuff! Congrats and so sorry to hear of the break. With a man like you made of stuff like that, you will be back to your best ( which by the way is far better than most of us) in no time.
