Great results from the WTC crew yesterday. Well done Alex who ran himself into 3rd overall, Stephen Dignin was 2nd junior also AG prizes for Anne Hudson, John Darcy, Rose L, John C , Brian H......am I missing anyone? Very windy so the usual calm, beginner suitable swim was choppy and made for a tough bike. Great to see so many racing a real mix of Wicklow heads well done everyone it certainly wasn't an easy sprint. Also great to see the Bowes boys representing the Junior club in Splash and Dash. Enjoy the end of the season everyone, rest up.

Spot-on Karen. It really was a nice course, well organised, well run and a good atmosphere all day, a credit to all involved. Can't put my finger on a reason but it wasn't easy! Maybe just the choppy swim and windy start/end to the bike route but I enjoyed the day.

There was a great show of Wicklow members and club branding visible everywhere, acres of blue! There are also loads of photos of Wicklow members in this album which is worth a browse.

Thanks for all the support from competitors and their families too ;)
